Antioxidant, Anti-Inflammatory and Cytotoxic Effects of Vernonia Amygdalina Mediated Copper Nanoparticles

Background: Vernonia amygdalina is generally known as sour leaf or bitter which one among the medically significant plants in African and Mediterranean regions. Hence, this study aids biosynthesis of copper nanoparticles using V.amygdalina for first time further it aims to investigate cytotoxicity, antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties mediated nanoparticles. Methods: Cytotoxic effect Copper sulphate reinforced with extract were assessed Brine Shrimp Assay at 5 µL, 10 20 40µL 80µL, activity Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) DPPH 30 50 µL. Results: As concentration increased, cytotoxicity increased. It was found that values higher than standard 30µL, 40µL, µL concentrations. Percentage inhibition highest 40 (85.7%) (92.6%). The be almost equal Conclusion: have very less cytotoxic effects. also has a potential serve good agent.
